Bespoke shoes in Bangkok, oxblood leather oxfords and a matching belt by Om Fashion

Made to Your Feet, Not to a Size Chart

Bespoke Shoes in Bangkok

Custom dress shoes, loafers, and matching leather belts, made alongside your suit at Om Fashion on the Bang Rak riverside.

Custom Shoes and Matching Belts in Bangkok

A suit cut precisely to your body deserves better than shoes chosen off a shelf. Om Fashion makes bespoke shoes in Bangkok to your own foot measurements, from formal oxfords through to unlined summer loafers, with belts cut from the same leather so the two actually match. Shoes are ordered at the same visit as your tailoring, on the first floor of the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel in Bang Rak, minutes from Silom.

If one foot is slightly longer than the other, if your instep is high, or if standard widths have never quite worked for you, this is the answer. Shoemaking timelines and prices are confirmed at your consultation, since they depend on the style and leather you choose.

What We Make

Formal and casual footwear, plus the leather accessories that go with them.

Formal Dress Shoes

Wholecut and cap-toe oxfords, derbies, single and double monk straps, and formal patent for black tie. The natural partner to a bespoke suit or tuxedo.

Casual Shoes and Loafers

Penny and tassel loafers, driving shoes, suede slip-ons, and unlined constructions built for heat rather than for a European winter.

Matching Leather Belts

Cut from the same hide as your shoes wherever possible, sized to your actual waist, with your choice of buckle. Matching properly, not almost matching.

Our workshop also makes men’s wallets and ladies’ handbags to order, in the same leathers, so a shoe order can extend to a matching set.

How Bespoke Shoes Are Made

Four stages, from your feet to the finished pair.

Shoemaker measuring a client's foot for bespoke shoes in Bangkok
  • Measuring. Both feet are measured separately for length, width, girth, and instep height, because almost nobody has two identical feet. We also look at how you stand and walk.
  • Style and leather. You choose the pattern, the toe shape, the sole, the lining, and the leather, from smooth calf through to suede. We will tell you honestly which combinations wear well in Bangkok humidity and which do not.
  • Making and fitting. The shoes are built to your measurements and checked on your feet before finishing, so pressure points and heel slip are corrected while corrections are still easy.
  • Finishing and collection. Final polishing, then collection at the shop or delivery to your hotel. If you leave Bangkok first, we ship them to you.

Shoes take longer than tailoring, so if you want a pair made during a short trip, tell us on day one rather than day three. Your foot measurements are kept on file afterwards, which means a second pair can be ordered from home without another fitting.

Shoes That Suit the Climate

The same advice we give on cloth applies to leather. A heavy, thickly lined shoe designed for a cold, dry climate is miserable in Bangkok, and it will not last as well either. For clients based in Thailand or across Southeast Asia we steer toward lighter constructions, breathable linings, and leathers that tolerate humidity. If your shoes are going home to a colder country, we build them differently. Tell us where they will actually be worn and we will build for that, rather than selling you the same shoe we sell everyone.

Bespoke Shoe Questions

Fit, leathers, timing, and ordering alongside a suit.

Does Om Fashion make bespoke shoes in Bangkok?
Yes. We make bespoke dress shoes including oxfords, derbies, and monk straps, alongside casual shoes and loafers, built to your own foot measurements rather than to a standard size chart. Matching leather belts can be made from the same hide.
How much do custom shoes cost in Bangkok?
Price depends on the style, the construction, and the leather you choose, so we quote at the consultation rather than publish a single figure that would be wrong for most orders. You are given a total before any leather is cut, and it does not change afterwards.
How long do bespoke shoes take to make?
Longer than a suit. Shoemaking involves stages that cannot be compressed, so we confirm a realistic date at your consultation based on the style you choose and the current workshop schedule. If you are leaving Bangkok before they are ready, we ship them to you.
Can you match a belt to my shoes?
Yes, and it is one of the most popular additions to a shoe order. Wherever possible the belt is cut from the same hide as the shoes, so the leather, colour, and finish match properly instead of almost matching.
Can you help if my feet are different sizes?
This is exactly what bespoke shoemaking is for. Both feet are measured separately, and the pair is built to accommodate the difference rather than forcing you to buy for the larger foot and pad out the other one.
Can I order shoes at the same visit as a suit?
Yes, and most clients do. Ordering together means the leather can be chosen against the actual cloth of your suit, and it saves you a second trip. Book one appointment and tell us you want both.
Can I order another pair after I go home?
Yes. Your foot measurements and the notes from your fitting stay on file, so a second pair can be ordered by WhatsApp from anywhere in the world and shipped to you.
